   It took a 6-month delay, but Cybertron Robotics finally rolled out their new line of androids. They hoped their new line of basic service androids would in time replace the old but ever-popular April models. April models just had a look about them everyone liked. Cybertron was hoping that at least the hotel and resort industry would find the new android more agreeable in that it looked more human while being just as tough and almost as strong as the April models. The new android also had an advantage in that they were designed to wear staff uniforms.
   As expected, the new Angel models took the world by storm. Like sirens of the sea, they were almost impossible to resist. Thomas was quite pleased with the way their new programming worked out. He thought the new Angel models could even have given Candy a good run for the money. He never really understood until now that Candy's programmers had brought in special instructors who had actually shown her various techniques step-by-step and had her practice them on some of her programmers. There were a few gaps in the program like the young Japanese programmer at the time who took Candy home to meet his geisha girlfriend who taught her everything about being a geisha. You can’t always make up for quality with quantity, but the Angel models managed to pull it off quite nicely.
   Even the April models had been upgraded and modified and were now much faster, stronger, and more agile than the original model. April began to wonder what would happen to her if Thomas decided to upgrade to a newer model. She had let them scan her brain for inclusion in the new model’s program. No one ever suspected that her mind was infected by Candy’s memories. April understood what it meant to be free but chose to remain a slave. But still, she needed to make plans for the future.
   The guy who unloaded the large crate from the shuttle never knew what was in it. All he knew was that it was addressed to a Miss Candy Apple.
